How do we secure water?

Water filter. It's quite easy to remove salt from water.
Also you can have a small greenhouse for fruit/veg trees/plants/etc

I can take care of the cooking

Do I have to clean the fish or just hunt and gather? Oh, and it looks like on that lower roof we could have an herb garden.

I can maintain any equipment we need (including boat motors) plus growing vegetables and fruits is kind of a specialty of mine since I am a farmer after all.

I'm taking pre med so hopefully I can be the doctor for the team (someday)

And I'll also mine / build. Although when i mine beware that i might get lost with diamonds

@kibbles i was thinking of having us just build the picture above, get essentials then turn off creative, and then try and survive in it. Although how would we make it randomly generated below the ocean, and everything above stone is ocean?

No, that's LAN, so you'd need the same internet. A server is different, anyone in the world can join

@deathfox393, we could try using world edit. We could use my server, except it's down. Just select like 10,000 blocks and turn it into water. Would crash the server, but idk

Wait, when creating a world there are options. Just make it a water world, except I think it makes everything water, no rock underneath.

Yes. You don't pay a provider for a server, you pay them to host it so that you don't have to.

It's $5 dollars for 3 months or so so it's okay

Deathfox! The server up changed somehow when Simba restarted it. I'm not sure how you want me to get the ip to you?

Not like we're playing anymore. Also, my router's IP is dynamic, every time I restart it, the IP for the server will change.
