It kinda sucks that the show is so limited by budget that they are forced to leave out a ton of stuff.

Well, that's film and tv adaptations for you. They always fuck something up.

The only one I've ever seen that got it right was Of Mice and Men. The adaptation was verbatim to my recollection... nothing left out, nothing added.

The mad king constantly cut himself from sitting on it. When Ned start say on it he described how uncomfortable it was
