Its a rough estimate on the costs it takes to culture cells in labs and also the mix different genes together to form hybrids and the building cost would not be cheap either
Humans are practically the smartest and therefore the most powerful animals right now, so zoos and stuff are manageable. But we don't know how powerful the dinosaurs will be, strength, speed or smart wise. So MAYBE it might work, of we're smart enough with our animal selections and if we're lucky. But there's also the problem of the food chain, which may become very unbalanced and may trigger an ecological collapse. Unless we are EXTREMELY lucky, the idea would fail, in my opinion. If i'm wrong, please tell me! I want to know if we could do this, because if we could have a safe jurrasic park, that would be awesome.

Make one of them and study it before making more.

This is part of why it would be done on an island. Only the ecosystem of the island would be in danger. The solution would be to just introduce thing slowly, and to study the results.

One of them is not enough for useful evidence and proper experiments, as there is no control factor. And there are many types of dinosaur, so testing each species would take up too much time for a park. Also, you'd need tests such as days when the park is packed, or when the food is bad and might invoke an anger response, and of course, testing their response in the event they are allowed to leave the area. There are many tests to check for safety which are not safe for us. Also, remember JP3? The pteranodons flew away from the island, and might have been able to find a habitat and reproduce, then hunting prey, which would destroy the local ecosystem, which would then greately affect other ecosystems. Also, some animals only eat other certain animals, or things, such as corpses for scavengers. They'd need to devise an incredibly intricate system to make sure the environment they made was contained and could thrive. If you wnted Jurrasic Park, you'd need incredibly smart tactics for it
"One of them is not enough for useful evidence and proper experiments, as there is no control factor."
That depends on what your studying. Obviouslt you'd eventually want to have more of them to study, but the point is to take your time and not rush forward too fast.

How would you define too much time?
"Also, you'd need tests such as days when the park is packed,"
Like test the dinosaurs reactions? That could easily be done with a small group of people long after you've created enclosure that have been tested to hold them, so they pose no threat.
"or when the food is bad and might invoke an anger response"
As long as the enclosures are good this wouldn't really be a problem.
"testing their response in the event they are allowed to leave the area."
If it's a predator it should probably just be killed.
"There are many tests to check for safety which are not safe for us."
Not really.

Yeah, flying dinosaurs are probably a bad idea.
"They'd need to devise an incredibly intricate system to make sure the environment they made was contained and could thrive."
Sure, but that would be part of the slow development of the island/park. Maybe some dinosaurs just wouldn't work. Who knows.

Yeah, just like space travel. That doesn't mean it's not possible. Assuming we could make dinosaurs, obviously.

You're saying we kill most of the animals, such as the flying ones and the predators, which might reduce revenue for the park. I don't know about that. For the control factor thing, I say you need more because you want to know the typical response, and one animal's thoughts and opinions should and does not tell the opinions of the entire group. Testing an unusually docile creature for its species may give false results, whcih results in crisis, so that would mean LOTS of testing, in some scenarios which are too risky. Scenarios such as what happens if food doesn't arrive, or if someone accidentally wanders into it's enclosure. And if we make enclosures, sure, it'll help, but we can't be sure about how safe it actually is. Mistakes happen, problems happen. But enclosures would most likely be implemented as that is pretty much the best idea. But your idea suggests we don't make a lot of dinosaurs, and we only breed the docile and harmless ones. Which might work.

Pretty much, yeah. At least at first. Slow expansion would probably always be happening.
