Now they need a word for the sadness, depression, pain one feels about not being able to pronounce a word that accurately describes the sadness, pain, depression one feels about unanswered love or love that is gone.

"Lovesick" is basically the same. If you want a dutch word that only exists in dutch, try "gezelligheid"
