I might be wrong, (and for some reason i have a hunch that i am but still) but it could be her stance on the matter has changed. I know many people who used to think the same way. People do change.

i think at one point of my life people taught me that gays are kind of gross... but i don't believe that now. i guess people just forced their opinions on me.
