Tumblr is a seemingly safe haven for anyone with a non traditional sexuality or gender I suppose; so it's saying that people who seek refuge in the website should not expect the outside world to always treat them as such. The world should treat anything and everything that has a positive aura about it but yknow, people just aren't into that, so it's either take everything with a grain of salt or get offended 24/7

Feminazi is a term for feminists who stop going for equality and instead try to promote women who actually did something wrong, and try to put down men, as well as convicting people of doing things that aren't crimes at all. Feminists are just up for gender equality, and so I am one as well. But feminazis are somewhat like the Neo-nazis. They just want their master race to survive.
.So both of these situations happened when I was playing SMITE and chatting in-game.In the first situation i compliment a girls skin and she's like "are you hitting on me?" and I said "no,I'm gay" and she write "aww <3" and others are like ";) cool".Yet in another game there was a user named "Mateygay" and I asked him if he was gay and he said "no" and I wrote "Oh,I guess I'm the only gay guy here" and the 3 other users (1 girl,2 guys) flammed on me for being gay and one user even told me that I will go to Hell multiple times even after the game.I'm trying to say is that even tho some people support you and it's mostly tumblr that doesn't mean everyone will be like this so don't get all happy bcs there are plenty of people who wish for you to die just bcs you're different so it's ok to go to tumblr to seek safety and acceptance but you should prepare for the outside world where not everyone will support you.
Yes, dear funsubbers, its true actually: nearly all the persons behind the avatars of tumblr are actually super lesbiqueer transnazi homofaggots who would like to eradicate all hetero men and women and the constitution and the bible. As opposed to the majority of wasp fratboy rapists and dried up churchgoing catloving teaparty spinsters here on funsubstance. CAn't we just hate the haters and love the platforms?

Mate, for one, all those names make no sense. Tea party isn't a verb, and homofaggots just makes no sense. Anyway, you're insulting all of us, and all of tumblr. You're not really loving either platform right now, as both the platform and the people constitute the experience. So you're really just contradicting yourself. Please refrain from making wisely prejudiced and over-exaggerated stereotypes of us and the people on tumblr, and please at least try to make sense with your won arguments. (Also, transnazi and lesbiqueer make no sense, and dried up,.churchgoing, fratboy and rapist do not.reflect almost all of us. And I'm sure rapist is a title no FS user wears.)

Man, I really like tumblr as well as funsub, i frequent both sizes more or less daily. Both offer fun and wits and both have incredibly dumb members as well. I would have made more or less the same posting on tumblr if anyone there would address to a whole website because of some of its members and supporters.
That post is like saying "I know you probably come on here because your life is terrible at this moment and you need an escape or to blow of steam, but don't forget for a second that no matter what, the world you are already experiencing does not care about you."

It's for those who make bulls*** profound proclamations with no evidence or support or even a motive and who ruin the public image of some, and just are terrible to others unnecessarily. I get what you mean though, but that's not the point nor the intention.
I don't know strangelyacoustic, I feel like his comment on the name tags with pronouns bothered me more than the rest of it (because let's be real here: I know tumblr can be excessive), because something that I hear again and again are stories of "I thought I was alone in my small town with how I felt, until tumblr" or "when I couldn't be open with family and friends I went online," circulating among young people, especially in the queer community. I just don't think it's a positive or fun thing to say "you are obviously running, but the monsters will always get you in the end. You will never be free."
Yeah, I get that, and in that way tumblr is a godsend. Buy in my opinion, he's not talking about that. I think he's talking about feminazis and otherkin and stuff. But just my opinion.
