I hate when people try to kill bees, it's the wasps you should be after!

Whatever you do, don't step on a wasp. I read that when wasps are stepped on, squished, or whatever, they send pheromones that attract more wasps to the scene of the crime.

Bees make honey, whereas wasps make marmite.

The one on the left is not a bee, it's a bumblebee an I've never heard of those being harvested for honey... They don't have a stinger at all, when I was a kid I chased them and kept them in my hands.

Bumble bees have a stinger, so can sting you. The stinger does not have barbs, so a bumble bee does not hurt itself upon stinging. Bumble bees are generally not aggressive and will only sting if they are protecting their nest or they are hurt.
