I agree, but BMI is a fundamentally flawed metric, it takes too few variables into account. You could be perfectly healthy while at the same time BMI would say that you're underweight or overweight.
ok, so im not sure what you are talking about so just change my first comment to most people tend to go for too skinny models rather than "too fat" models in my opinion

Plus sized models. A lot of them are probably within a healthy weight range, but then a lot would be extremely overweight or obese, too.
This a repost, but I'll say the same thing I said before to this retarded puffin. Anorexia is endemic to the model industry and is a big problem that sees people die. The industry does not have an endemic problem with obese models.
Name one obese model, just one, Im talking Vogue, Harpers, Cosmo...how about a run way show, how about a target ad......there are no obese models promoted in mainstream media so get a grip kids.
Preach. We shouldn't promote the idea that being fat is healthy. If you fat it's ok, it not healthy but it is your choice ( unless you have some medical condition). You are beautiful
either way if you are friendly, lovely and make people smile, though for your health you might to change your diet and exercise.
They don't *have* to ban "too fat" models. Let's face it, no one is going to see a fat woman in a bikini and say "y'know, screw my diet, I think I'm okay with waking up one day and hauling an extra quarter of my body mass out of bed." Fat people live with enough shit without the added shame.
Do they hell as like. People are constantly trying to tell people it's okay to be fat, but the fact is they are unhealthy and drain medical resources by getting health complications that are avoidable. Plus size models if they are truly overweight should be banned like anorexic models are, as neither body type should be encouraged.

Why do people support this nanny-state government shit? Why should the government be given the authority to manage the type of models people use?
But... models showcase clothes. Everybody needs clothes, just because someone is fat doesn't mean they shouldn't get proof that the clothes fit the body types.
