true
unless someone is complaining about something really pathetic and making a giant deal about it. then it's ok to say no stop, suck it up, there are people dealing with Actual problems
Yes, it's true that you shouldn't compare your problems to others, but you should think about how those people managed to live and surpass all their problems in life.
You should look up "the right to freedom of speech."

The right to free speech is such an overused and ignorant argument. It means the freedom from persecution by the government for expressing your opinions, not freedom from criticism for being a dickbag
Everything you said is true, ericar1993, but none of that means freedom of speech doesn't allow us to say all the things that the pic says we can't.

Yes, I suppose freedom of speech does also mean freedom to be an asshole. Doesn't make it right though
just because there are situations out there that are "suckier" doesn't mean the present situation "sucks" any less. A worse situation doesn't magically make a bad one better
I don't think it's really fair to say something like this because you haven't been in someone else shoes. Maybe their life is really worse than yours? I know people who are going through hell, and for me to actually say my problems, which are serious to me, are as terrible as theirs would be wrong.
I totally get what you're saying, but i think that what this is trying to say is that you can't and shouldn't compare your problems with other people's. Your issues are serious to you, and I can't say, well mine are as just bad as yours because I don't know what your going thru, i could sympathize, maybe even empathize, but we all struggle with some shit. But the main point is that you shouldn't compare problems. Everyone has them.
Yea I totally agree that we shouldn't compre. I just think we shouldn't go around telling people our problems are just as bad as yours and stuff like that too!
Just because someone else got stabbed twice, or somebody else got stabbed just like you and recovered, doesn't mean you should just ignore the fact that you have been stabbed.
