Where? With who? Wait, who? Hmm, i dont think I like that friend of yours... at what time? Who else is going? John? Who's John? Do you like him? Mhm, sure. Where? No i didn't already ask that, dont talk to me in that tone. Well, we'll see...
The solution to strict parents, by someone with personal experience:
Convince them of the virtue and honesty of one friend and their parents. Tend this trust between your parents, your friend and their parents for a while. (A year, or a little longer - depending on your parents)
You tend this relationship by ALWAYS being home on time when you go with this friend, by always doing innocent, sweet and wholesome things with your friend in their presence (like bake cookies), and by arranging for your parents to interact with your friends parents in a way that promotes trust - like letting your friend call their parents to come pick them up (this shows dependability, as well as a high value for family by your friends parents).
Eventually they will trust both your friend and their parents. Now all you have to do is say you're going to friend X and they'll let you, because they know these people can be trusted and have the same family values as your own.
Now you're free.
I just disobeyed until they caved and thought what the hell did we do wrong. I got sent to a reform school which made things even worse. So. Kids. Don't do that.
