uh no sorry that's not true..just cuz I put glaze on a pastry doesn't make it a donut...it's not the same process and they're made with different ingredients.
yeah they are way too hard and crumbly to call a donut... although scones int he US is for a variety of hard bread things, often with some sort of chocolate or glaze...
