People could run into it, but the car cannot "hit people".

Cars can hit people..

Drivers inside the car can run over people. Cars, by themselves, cannot hit us.

Should have said that differently. My thoughts where that the car itself is what's going to be hitting somebody, not the driver.

I bet people are like "Fuck, the apocolypse has come"
