My parents were antivax quacks in the 80's it messed me up and killed my little brother we both ended up with whooping cough, I still have problems today with getting sick monthly. (I'm sick right now actually) when I found out that a simple vaccine could have saved my brother and lifelong problems for me I started to hate my parents, eventually I disowned them and left.
Not saying I'm pro vax or Anti vax but I don't understand the science of it. They inject you with a year old version of the virus and by then the virus has already changed so the vaccine shouldn't work. But some vaccines do in fact. How?

They inject you the same (modern) virus, but it's pretty much dead, and in a very low number.
Your body's defenses identify a new "object", and since it doesn't know what it is, it tries to kill it. And of course, it can, bc the virus is already dying at that point.
From that, your defenses now can identify that virus or similar, acting quickly and efficiently.
Variations of the virus are also attacked as well. The real problem comes when a virus changes too much from the vaccine to the one thay infects you.
This larger variation only happens if the virus is left alone without fighting it (i.e. no vaccines) or if they are a "super virus" (can't remember the technical name).
When you get vaccinated your body produces antibodies that can kill that virus. Antibody production for that virus goes on for couple of years but in smaller quantities. What is important, in case of infection, B lymphocytes that produce this specific antibody are ready to produce large quantity of it in a day or two so your organism can kill the virus in early stage of disease.
If you don't get vaccinated it usually takes 10-14 days to get that ammount of antibodies, so you start fighting in very late state of desease and can get very sick or die from that virus.
=P this was 3 weeks ago according to the timeline so. Whatever. All I know. Is the one thing the Government is good at is keeping people alive in times of crisis. Otherwise they wouldnt have anyone to rule over now would they? XD.

VACCINES SAVE LIVES. there was ONE study where they found a link between vaccines and autism, but all the data was faked and the people who lied went to jail for it. Not a a single other study has been able to duplicate those results. Sometimes you can get a nasty side effect to a vaccine, like Guillan-Barré Syndrome. But its a tiny percent. You're more likely to die from the flu than the flu vaccine. These are undeniable statistics.
I have an immune disorder, so I can't get vaccine with live virus. I depend on herd immunity from others being vaccinated. If you don't get vaccinated, infect me, and I die (which has nearly happened a few times) then congrats, you just committed murder.
