Why is it still so popular? It's incredibly expensive and makes you smell bad

I like the smell of the smoke from cigarettes

In my area smoking isn't popular at all. All the people I've talked to at my school agree it's really bad.

Probably because its not something they're supposed to be doing.

Pipe tobacco often smells nice, but cigarettes and cigars are horrible smelling.

Its probably the idea of not caring about your own life, that makes it so attractive

I really like to smoke but not evryday, only at parties, or sometimes with friends. But I pay attention attention to not get addicted because that would suck

Because all the badasses on tv and in movies smoke you're either the suave manipulative businessman lounging on an office chair in a suit smoking a cigar or you're the badass leather wearing motorcycle riding dude (or girl!) who don't take shit from anybody.

People smoke because it's a fucking delight and us as humans are allowed to pleasure ourselves to death if we choose. Stop judging people who live less judgmentally as you and trying to make them feel bad. They're consciously choosing to do it and just like you they are just human. What do you do to relax? Sex? Alcohol? Eat? Sleep? Cut? Do heroin? Its your choice. You have a voice for yourself not for others. If you want them to stop so they live longer that's kinda selfish. It's what they're choosing to do and you have no right to try to keep them from their desires. Thank you.
