this one annoys me each time i see it, there have always been girls who dress riskier than others, and half the time the same person will dress both ways. just auughh wear nothing if nothing makes you happy cover all your skin if covering all your skin makes you happy. you get people wanting to ban burkas to protect women and people wanting to ban showing skin to protect women, the whole thing is bananas. let people show as much or as little skin as they please and fuck right off.
Why do women complain that men stare at their bodies, when men are trained since they are toddlers to see a woman nearly naked as something they desperately want, but cannot have? Spoiled brat. Think about someone else besides yourself and your happiness. Give men a chance to respect a woman's mind before they ever encounter their skin. Being a whore is not moral or empowered, it's destructive to little minds. Go to hell.
P.S. One ugly smart girl in sweater with the personality of Koroit fire opal, is sexier than all the sorority girls on all the beaches on spring break the world over, combined.
Oh my picked peas I love it when people are predictable. Which rock? Because there are very few rocks that aren't beautiful. We build our homes from them and pay top dollar for it, we make countertops and floors out of them and hold the material in higher esteem than any other; nearly every married couple in the western world wears a very costly rock on their fingers to express love. So which rock were you referring to that, as a comparison, would be a detraction from a girl's personality? RubyEmeraldCitrineBerylGraniteObsidianOpalNovaciulite? Even tortoises have wonderful personalities, madam...

You seem to be forgetting these are not women. They are 14 year old girls. No child should dress like the girls on the right. They wouldn't know what to do when grown men try to be "inappropriate" with them.
Some grown women still don't know what to do when men "try to be inappropriate with them." If you or anyone else is capable of sexualizing 14 year old girls based on what they wear, then you are the one with the problem.
So it's okay to sexualize 18 year olds? It's okay to ogle these girls or think less of them for how they're dressed, because the look older than they are? I really don't understand the point you're trying to make or it's relevance.
this is the thing, i dont think the girls in pic are 14, but 14 is def old enough to start thinking and dressing, and young enough if you are having issues with smartness about other people that parents should interfere, so making assumption that women/girls at 14 wearing these clothes are not idiots, and can put off a man hitting on them. men bothering women is not a valid reason to hate on girls/women wearing clothing! that is the mans fault if he is bothering a girl! treating girls like hussies because men flirt with them is absurd. clothing and makeup is about how it makes us feel, not how it effects men. i mean i have a boyfriend and have no interest in other men, and even going to a female friends house i will put on make up and attractive cllothing... because its about me! and what they wear is about them. age and mens reactions are not valid reasons to come down on it.

I agree with you in theory, but the reality is, they will get judged as being promiscuous, and if you're not old enough to handle yourself, bad things could happen.
That follows that anything bad that could happen to them would be their fault because of how they choose to dress, and that is ridiculous. Is that not victim blaming, should anything actually happen?

It's not their fault, but having said that, it is NOT a perfect world out there and the bad people will use that as an excuse. If I wave money around and somebody runs past and steals that, is that my fault? No, it's the thief's fault but people will still tell me I shouldn't having been waving money around.

I don't care what girls wear. I mean yeah you probably should wait a little before dressing in booty shorts and a crop top with stilettos but some people just dress more covering than others. Like I always wear jeans but some people don't like jeans so it's not like we have to force them to wear them...unless you're a principle/teacher then by all means BREAK ALL THE LITTLE GIRLS' FASHION DREAMS
I like graphic tees but everyone in my family is telling me to dress like the girls on the right and my mom said that I have to buy my own tee shirts and when I pick one out they give me weird looks and say I'll get picked on. But I don't want to dress like those girls!
So don't. Your mother's manipulative demand that you show of your private body is unreasonable, and forcing you to dress that way or not to clothe you at all is outright child abuse.
This is much too true. A reason for this is that stores that sell what is on the left market to and have sizes that are made for younger kids. There is also pressure to dress like on the right because it looks more "put together"
And when you're "put together" you look like you're trying for something.

Thank goodness my 14 year old dresses like the girl on the left. Except she would be wearing Tardis leggins or Hello Kitty leggings with a long t-shirt.
Yeah. Left ^^'
