Toucan taking a break in a tree

Pretty sure it's just a sentient pod the tree produces as it reaches the 21st day of the 19th month of Pol'Beir. Trees drop their toucan pods at exactly noon and it is then the toucan becomes mobile. Prior to that date, they merely grow and observe their surroundings as inanimate lookers-on. The locals celebrate the newly-matured toucans with feasts, singing and dancing.
