I feel like more people need to see this, and to understand that it DOES hurt us so much because we don't know who's saying it... so we assume everybody's saying it.
That wasn't my point. My point was that we assume everyone said it because we have no way of knowing otherwise - and in the mindset we find ourselves in while in this situation, it's only natural to feel negative. It's the way anonymous hate seems to work that makes it the most effective. Because we can't see or hear who's actually saying it, we can't assume that it's only one person, we can't assume who isn't saying it... so we just assume everyone is saying it.
It's a mindset, and I was referring to myself and the collective of all those who feel the same way. "We" (me and others) find ourselves in a negative or depressed mindset, therefore think the worst. It's not something that's easily explained.
As much as everybody is the same, we're all different. As much as everyone's experiences with depression/anxiety/bullying may seem, everybody's is also different.
Nah, I just get mad because an anon (or guest) didn't even bother to create a frikken profile for their stupid rantings. Log in and say it like a man!
As to what concerns the voice I read it in, I often imagine an annoying, Cartman-like voice when it's a mean comment.
