I mean, we don't talk to strangers for example when we are on the bus. If we are somewhere "special", we can talk, like school, work e.t.c.

am pretty sure sitting next to someone on an empty bus is weird anywhere. you know unless you're that one weird coworker who sits right next to me on the empty shuttle, and one time asked me to scootch over cuz i was taking up a little of the seat next to me.... on the bus with two people on it...

Not just empty, but if the bus is nearly full, it would still be considered wierd to sit next to someone you don't know, you should rather stand.

i won't sit next to ppl i don't know in the am, but after a long day, you better be ready for your butt to meet mine. though im not really familiar with true busing etiquette here since i only ride an employee lot shuttle
