Finally, I'm so glad they've done this. Those against vaccination have threatened to start their own kindergartens and are making a massive fuss about it

I have an immune disorder, so I can't get certain vaccines. My life relies on herd immunity! Anti-vaxxers get people like me killed with their stupidity
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE AUTISM YOU GET?? (jk good for victoria)

That's not a bug, it's a feature! Serioisly, I can't believe how many people in the States still believe the autism thing. And worse, there was a study that claimed the higher the education level the more likely to believe it and be impossible to have a mind change based on evidence. Something about smart people being overconfident in their knowledge.
I find that study incredibly difficult to accept.
When I discover that someone is an antivaxer, I automatically believe that they are poorly educated, in addition to being woefully unscientific.
What gets me is that those people who are against vaccinations claiming their child MAY become autistic (though I am in no way implying vaccinations cause autism whatsoever, we've just gotten better at identifying autism), would rather their child perish from diseases that have essentially been eradicated than become *possibly* afflicted with a condition that one can live happily with the rest of their lives. I am SO happy I got my child vaccinated and myself as well. Adults that don't vaccinate themselves for pertussis (whopping cough) can be just as dangerous.
in most places education is a requirement, so if you refused to vaccinate, if it works anything like the US, you would be forced to homeschool. honestly people really prone to being into vaccine are already prone to homeschooling anyways.
