I agree until the bit about the nothing box. I tend to drift from box to box while still keeping them separate.
Also, provide citation for that study or it never happened.

I don't ever stop thinking, no. But, in addition to that ball of interconnected wire, I do have a "disconnect" box. This is where I put my pointless things, like whether dogs have accents, and whether some birds are afraid of heights, and what clouds taste like. And I sit in my giant Disconnect box for hours and go through my more mundane activities on autopilot.
The best is when you get good enough at your job that you can spend most of the day inside the nothing box. Just cruising.

I highly suggest Mark Gungor's messages! He's hilarious, especially hearing the way he says this post. Maybe he has no idea how to connect different subjects, but most guys are not mentally handicapped in this fashion. There are definitely differences between how women and men think, but this analogy is terrible.
