Even if he is shaming fat people, so what? When will these people understand that being fat ISN'T A GOOD THING?! And it is never a good idea to condone it in any way.
With the whole body acceptance movement, it shouldn't be a means for people to remain fat. It should be "accept your body for when you feel healthy and happy with yourself" not just accept it how it is. Being overweight can lead to health complications, especially later in life. You don't see a lot of old, severely overweight people, do you? Something to remember. Having a few extra pounds isn't the end of the world. Just remember to eat/do everything in moderation. This doesn't mean exercise til you puke everyday. This means maybe you should only pizza/Netflix binge once in a while instead of every weekend, or maybe order the water instead of the soda at a restaurant. And fercrissake...STOP with all the fast food. YUCK!
Y'do realize the long-term success rate for adult weight loss is just below five percent, right? I have cut about five hundred calories per day out of my diet, not to mention replacing a bunch of starch with vegetable content, now exercise substantially more regularly than.... most people who hold down a full-time job, and have been doing so for over a year now. I am now more energetic, enthusiastic, and happy than I've ever been before. I'm also a clothing size larger and ten pounds (ten CLEARLY NOT MUSCLE pounds) heavier.
That's why I said you need to be happy, but healthy, when concerning yourself. It's okay if you've gained weight, but you're more energetic and happy than before, that's awesome!!! I'm in the same place. I cut a lot of junk, I workout at 5:30 AM 4 days/week and alternate between mostly cardio with some weight lifting to tone, and I'm not smaller, but I notice the jiggly bits have been less and I'm happy with myself, and that's what's important. Also, my husband finds me attractive, which is pretty important too :)
Tumblr just WANTS to be oppressed in some way. They keep trying to find excuses to blame the world around them rather than admitting to their own faults.
Tumblr is so diverse, nothing is a majority. If you want to see SJW posts, you'll find them. If you want to follow white supremacists, there's plenty of those too. Even on this post a SJW tried to take it over and a reasonable person completely shut them down. I'd say the majority of tumblr is reasonable people.
You're right. You caught me. My whole argument is invalid. Congrats. I'll revise my statement: Although it's difficult to pinpoint any one majority on a website as diverse as tumblr, from my observations I'd say that the majority of tumblr users are reasonable people, and the feminazi SJWs are a loud but small percentage of tumblr's overall population.
>Diverse
>SJWs
>Uncommon
I came back to tell you how stupid that was.
