Heimlich maneuver for dogs

I've been meaning to look this up because when I'm home alone with my dog, I'm always worried he might choke

This graph is inaccurate dogs never smile when you do that.

My dogs have never chocked before but im always worried about them blowing out a knee

So it's actually kind of similar to humans with the abdomen compression and blow to the shoulder blades. Are all these just different options of doing it? Or more like steps until you get the food dislodged?
