I actually want a tampon because they have amazing absorbent qualities. I wanna soak one with water and smack stuff like with those stretchy jelly-hand things except these will probably hurt because of all that water weight.

I used to be embarrassed to buy my own tampons and then I realized "I'm going to do this until in at least in my late 30's." And I decided to not give a fuck.

It shouldn't be traumatising at all, literally half the world does it....teach your kids about this shit and get some perspective.

Here's the thing about guys buying tampons. Obviously they are not for you so theres no need to worry about that. Your mom most likely will not ask you to buy her tampons (and her period probably already stopped by then) so therefore you are buying tampons for a woman that trusts you enough to open up about her period. Therefore, when guys go buy tampons it most likely means they have a women they love at home and that they are mature enough to not be embarrassed by it.

As someone who currently works in retail, I can honestly tell you that most of time I honestly don't pay attention to what you're buying. And if I do, and you happen to be buying tampons, I definitely don't think about your bleeding vagina, more like, when the hell do I get to go home.
