Probably flew into a window. My church has a TON of windows, so we have birds flying into our windows about once a month. I take care of them all. Had to keep one with me for 8 months because he cracked his beak, and by the time it finally healed it was winter, and he would've died.

Yes its body needs to keep the blood flowing so that its heart doesnt stop the way it does that is to constantly move and beat its wings rapidly
