Now in my eight grade i read a story about how a man divorces his wife because she didn't want to visit her mother for the holidays and he was insistent that she should go. In the end she was left alone and helpless. I just wish that during my formative years i had read the stories like the one posted here.
I often see people on FS and other sites saying how Feminism is redundant but I don't agree. The European countries and Americans might not need it but we (under developed countries) need it. I agree that the world is not the responsibility of West but we follow you and we need you.
I agree with you completely guest. American women already have all the rights they need, such as the right to vote, and the right to have the same jobs. It's places like the Middle East that need woman's rights
"All the rights they need" mm...okay so because we have those we can't ask for any more? Like wanting to be seen as more capable than we are thought of? Because we already "have all the rights we need"?
I agree Middle Eastern women have many more hardships than American or European women but it doesn't mean our struggle is over and it doesn't mean men's struggles are over either.
