Germany can't have rain forests. It's in the wrong climate. It can have a temperate forest, but it's not the same thing.

Not true. Temperate zone rainforests are actually a thing:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temperate_rainforest
However, following that link and clicking on Global Distribution will show you that Germany doesn't seem to have any.
