Yes, "When all else fails, go sit with the special ed kids." sounds like a true masterpiece and something to live by.
Edit: I also like your username. Is it perhaps a reference to the Irish Rover or just a coincidence?
Oh. Okay. I thought it was a typo at first. That's pretty neat.

Hahah thank you, Smbadat, for answering for me, I was playing Skyrim and not paying attention. And Life Advice, when it's GOOD life advice, definitely has literal value. I have not read any YouTuber's books, but I'm sure that the majority of them do not say something as idiotic as "When all else fails, go sit with the special ed kids."
Heck yeah, Skyrim! Just started playing it for the third time. I got a bit inspired by Victor Hugo's book and made my character a female gypsy-looking Imperial named Esmeralda, heh. Yeah, good life advice does have literary value, and then again my view may be biased as the only excerpts I know of are the ones that are being made fun of, but still, most of these people are like 20 or 30 max and still have most of their lives ahead of them, also their advice usually has the form of "go with your heart!" - said by the few lucky people for whom doing what they wanted actually worked unlike the millions for whom it didn't.

Hah I'm the farthest I've ever gotten in Skyrim (level 25 *sigh*). And yea, the younger YouTubers I don't think should really be doing the Life Advice, cause they don't have much experience. Unless it's with self harm or depression or something, cause too many people go through that.
Awesome! Once I almost finished the game, I think the only thing I missed were the Companions plus maybe some quests that were triggered by conversations I didn't know of, but now I'm starting anew because I want to experience different choices like joining the Empire instead of the Stormcloaks etc.
I'm sure people said the same thing about autobiographies of tv personalities. Or radio personalities before that. As YouTube or internet personalities and entertainment via the internet becomes more viable as a legitimate form of entertainment the people who make the content become more of mainstream entertainers and become more widely known and its only natural for people to want to hear their story
