Yeah. People can do it. Its about using your opponents momentum against them. Or in the world of professional wrestling it takes coordination and cooperation of both people involved to perform a safe and successful suplex. Specifically its a german suplex
Actually the move is designed to where the person taking the move actually lands and absorbs the impact into their shoulders rather than their neck. All wrestling moves are pretty much designed to look worse than they actually are, its still gonna hurt like a motherfucker, but when done right by trained professionals it can be very low risk.
I mean its fake in the fact that storylines are planned out, matches are planned out. And the moves generally take the cooperation and coordination of everyone involved. But you cant fake gravity so you're still going to be impacting onto the ring, which is made of steel and two by fours and canvas, so its still going to hurt, ive heard it described as feeling like a car crash. But with the right training and strength and skill amd talent matches can be done in relative safety. That being said there are accidents, botches, and the occasional ego getting in the way that lead to injury, steve austin had his neck broken because he wasnt in the right position to take a move. Triple h has torn his quad multiple times. And droz took a move the wrong way and wound up paralyzed from the neck down. But its entertainment. And when you watch the moves in wrestling and really watch them happen it becomes quite fascinating and beautiful to look at really
I know this isn't a suplex but in the manga it was.
Is this why people say wrestling is fake?
