I respectfully disagree. I think allot of people just get lazy and don't feel the need to continue to try and impress their 'other'. In my opinion, you should try your best when you are together. I think it shows a sign of affection.

I think the bigger problem is that this is not an old man, but a hipster trying to act like a gilf

I'm a family man and when I go out with my family I think I look quite dapper.
