I call BS that you can kill someone by the simple virtue of breaking their foot. Unless we're talking about bone shards shredding an artery and internal bleeding ensues.
Shock plays a factor in it. Extreme pain can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. If there is significant blood loss, that can also cause shock. Moreover, if the bleeding is internal and left untreated, it could cause problems.
If we go back in time about 125 years you could kill someone by stepping on they're foot because medicine wasn't so advanced and the chance of infection was much higher...... and the infection is what would have killed you
100 billion? No, there are 200-400 billion stars in the Milky Way.
.
Not to mention that was the estimate untill this year when it was determined that the Milky Way is actually much larger than previously thought. To the order of 150-180 thousand light years across, not 100 thousand. The number of stars could push 500+ billion.
.
Turns out the Milky Way is fairly unusual. It's a double barred spiral that turns out to be HUGE. Not just an "ordinary" spiral of "average" size.
As in anything before the first joint?
