Hi folks. The reason it's wa illegal in the U.S. is because it was thought at one time that the genes would break down and chidren would be born 'disable'. (for a lack of a better word) Through research, they found this NOT the case, and I don't believe t's illegal, just kinda creepy.

Its a state by state issue. In some states it is illegal for first cousins to marry, in others its legal. Either way its creepy
