Sometimes elephants in captivity do that because they have no idea what they're doing in that regard so the keepers have to work with the elephants to help them learn to be good mommies.

Brilliant observation there, really inspired. Point is it was said by underyourbed that debris in an eye would not cause weeping for 5 hours. I'm pointing out that in fact, yes it can. Not just with camels either, I have seen the same in cattle and horses.
