Peace and quiet

The decibel scale is logarithmic so a negative number just means that the actual quantity is fractional (<1).

You know, fractional decibels makes more sense than having negative decibels.

Because that depth of silence is practically maddening. Imagine being able to hear yourself blink. I think I'd get aggravated by that within a minute.

I can hear myself blink normally though... Like right now.
