Islam advocates peace and peace-making. However, fighting and war is permitted in certain circumstances when all else has been tried and failed.
"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other)." - Surah 49:13
That doesn't answer anything. I'm talking about the condemned standing up and brawling. They're gonna die anyways so why not take some of that evil with them.
I've watched quite a few of those ISIS videos and wondered the same thing. Like lambs to the slaughter. But then I suppose by that time they are so drained and numb, they just have nothing to give.
Starbucks got rid of the design on their holiday cups, so now it's just a solid red, and a bunch of Christians are butthurt over it, complaining that it's an attack on them because the cups aren't Christmas-y anymore. Some have started telling baristas, when asked, that their names are "Merry Christmas" just so they can have it on their cups as a sign of "protest". It's very stupid.
So people are upset because they didn't keep Christmas designs on cups when Christmas is late next month. that is impressive people really, good job (<please note the sarcasm)
Yeah, I mean, the design they took away wasn't even that Christmas-ish. I'm pretty sure it was just a snowflake. Besides, if they're so concerned about it, they should just be glad the color is still red; that's pretty much a certified "Christmas color."
*sigh* Starbucks was probably just trying to be more inclusive, y'know, since not everyone celebrates Christmas, but it seems some people just had to ruin it.
I can't find a legit news source talking about the execution of 200 Syrian children. Anyone have credible sources? I'm not denying it didn't happen because it's Isis but I have a hard time believing Christiantoday.com
What's the point of worrying about Syria? Just because you're more self aware of important news doesn't help those children. It's okay not to want to know about that.
It's the fact that people have their priorities screwed up. People are wanting to protest Starbucks over a temp coffee cup and there's more important things happening.
