One cannot have the knowledge that tomatoes don't belong in a salad? This doesn't make sense.

Tomato is a fruit, I am making a fruit salad, I know a Tomato is a fruit so it could go in the fruit salad but from experience and testing I also know its flavour will not compliment a fruit salad. You can know a lot of things but fail in the application of that knowledge due to lack of experience. Knowledge can be gained immediately but the proper use of that knowledge can only happen through time and testing (i.e. Wisdom) Knowledge + Time + Trial and Error = Wisdome

Common sense is knowing that that does not make ketchup a smoothie.
