Cause the newer the cars are, the more they're made to only work until the next thing comes out. Then you have to shell out the money for a car that broke down on purpose or buy the one of a kind parts they sell.

I had a 94 that had 215k miles on it when I gave it to my sister. She killed it within a month by not putting oil in the engine. :(
