it doesnt really make sense to me cuz my experience working every thanksgiving is that the roads are clear as shit cuz everyone is already at their loved ones houses

Personally, I'm not a fan of Thanksgiving food. I mean... it's probably just my family doesn't know how to make it good because I've had it and liked it at a friend's house (but that friend is basically a professional chef). Usually I have very small plates at Thanksgiving. I actually prefer to have leftovers so I can make turkey sandwiches the next day.
