A regular cafe wouldn't suffice?

I thought that. And just have meetings like that at the regular cafe.

So if you're not LGBT you can't come in?

I guess not? But if I were running a cafe like that,I'd let non-LGBT people in as well,so long as they're polite to everyone.

Just seems strange to me that a group of people who feel excluded are excluding others according to this post. Not that I'm straight by any means.

Why can't it be a regular café? If you're straight you're not allowed? Sounds backwards if you ask me.

well if there are gay bars it would be nice to have a gay cafe, I live in a smallish (it's suposaidly medium to large) area that tends to be homophobic so I would like to have somewhere to meet people

Place called 'boystown' in Edmonton 20 years ago. Tea and coffee and great desserts and a bunch of fags too. Had a nice vibe.
