Yay sero for hating on other people's choice of games. You go, kid.
I, for one, am a huge CoD fan. And yeah, they're all pretty different.

Alright. I admit it. I hate them games. No, I haven't seen nor played BO3, Ghosts a little, and I have BO2(I play it every so often).
I just find them something sorta....tunneled. Unable to expand in the way I want it to. But maybe the way I want is wrong. So I'll be a Pokemon fanboy. But I have played CoD.

A lot of games with numerous sequels have the same type gameplay/story. Super Mario, Sonic, Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Solid. Everybody has the games they like and games they don't like. I don't like CoD or Pokemon and I couldn't care less about what people think about that.
They all have perks and downfalls. I've owned and played every call of duty since Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. I loved the WW2 and MW campaigns but stomped playing campaign so much after I was introduced to multiplayer. I started playing way less single player and stuck with multiplayer which, in my opinion, is where most COD games shine. I don't like the BO3 campaign after playing the first 2 missions but the multiplayer is amazing. I play fairly competitive and the multiplayer matches that well.
I think WAW and MW2 had fun multiplayers, but I disliked BO and MW3. After that I just didn't feel like getting them anymore. A few if my friends got the newer ones and didn't like them, so I felt as though I made a good decision. I wanted to branch out more and try different genres.
You know I'm not a huge fan. I always thought it was ok, but I'm a single player type of guy and cod isn't really made for single player. They do have a good single player don't get me wrong, but there are better ones out there.
Funny thing is, people talk big about games being the same in the sequel, but the second a gaming company changes the way the game is played, people go nuts. I am no different. Personally I use to like the CoD franchise, until the implemented double jumps, rocket jumps, whatever you want to call it. Basically people flying all over the map, so now I won't even touch a new CoD game. But I thought it was fine before in the Modern Warfare days, and not the futuristic days SO many games are taking on.
Pokemon for me was really cool when I was younger, I played a lot of leaf green and fire red but when it came to the DS ones it became too complicated for me. I might try and get a gameboy and the older games one of these days
