I'm not trying to be dense but could someone explain this to me? I get the irony in the First World Problems meme but this is lost on me.

I realize it's an imperfect system, but do you know the alternative for the children? It's starvation.

They starve anyway, not to mention the treatment they receive in the factories. But the companies don't care.
