We were told to comment on a few posts with it, people stopped doing it as soon as we realised it was annoying people. I don't get why people downvotes though, just a comment saying it's annoying would have been fair enough
Is that not how downvotes are for? Pray tell, what do people use downvotes for besides indicating displeasure? Seems like that's what everyone is doing.
Personally I've only ever downvoted when something was offensive or downright rude. A random comment with no obvious insult doesn't really warrant hate in my opinion. Obviously you disagree, which is fine.
