Same here. American, tried Vegamite, disgusting no matter how you eat it. Maybe since Australia is under the rest of the world it would taste better standing on my head? (Or with a shit-ton of Foster's!)
! I don't remember the last time I saw Foster's for sale in Australia. We drink Toohey's and Carlton and VB (and more and more craft beers), but Foster's is basically only for export these days
isn't it harder to believe that in our modern age of empathy, wealth and funny food-product names some people don't have ANY food to eat?
sort of shocks me more than your chipchocks frothy minties or whatever not being known and loved all around the world.
Tim Tams are a slice of chocolate heaven
Wizz fizz! Omg it's like a sugary cocaine that you dip a lollipop in
Vegemite is so tasty with cheese and toast
FAIRY BREAD IS AMAZINNGGG
it's sprinkles with butter it's yumm
Minties are orgasming
Chicos: same ^
Caramello koalas are so mouth watering
I LOVE BEING AUSSIE
There are "international" stores around, try Google. Most of the "odd" foreign products I've tried came from Jungle Jim's grocery outside of Cincinnati Oh. Actually Fairview, Fairfield, something like that; been a few years since I've been there but it's just north of Cincy.
Tim Tams are the key to happiness. Alternatively, am I missing something about fairy bread because I really struggle to understand the appeal. Like are sprinkles not the same in Australia?
