Reasons reading is important

I'm not a better conversationalist though :(

If I didn't love reading already, the last one would totally convince me ^^

Sure, reading would make you smarter if you read encyclopedias. I sincerely doubt reading comics, manga, or the Harry Potter series just magically boosts your Intelligence stat though. I love a good book, but I think the content is what matters here.
