I don't agree with all his ideas, but Donald Trump is the most honest candidate we have.

Allow me to stop sugarcoating my opinion then: Trump is as planned, creative, and effective as a third-grader's first attempt at using the grown-up swears.

feels good right?

Yes, in the "come to the dark side" sense. But it's remarkably unlikely to actually persuade anyone, thanks to the defensive emotional reaction. People who perceive an attack or a dismissal of their viewpoint clam up.

Nobody said anything about hurting feelings. Just seems a bit f***ing rude to speak negatively about someone, and then try to hide behind the Constitution. Does anyone remember why America was founded? Oh that's right. To get away from the religious oppression, and to maintain freedoms. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't oppressing the freedoms of others trying to do exactly what our forefathers in this nation kinda Unconstitutional? Seems to me that people have lost sight of that, and just listen to the biased opinions of right and left wing followers, when what we really need is to look at the problem, and follow what this nation was founded upon. The reason all of this shit has happened is because people have forgotten who they are and where they have come from. Unfortunately, innocent blood has been spilt because of the indoctrination of those who have no idea what they are talking about. Those who have misinterpreted what they have read and have heard. Just. Be kind to one a

Also, name calling is generally a good way to polarize, not persuade, an audience. It's one of the more standard expressions of othering.

im not trying to persuade anyone. I'm just saying that lately people are too worried about offending each other that they can't say how they feel about certain subjects because people are gonna call them out on it and call them a bigoted asshole

Orrrrr they could express themselves in a manner respectful of other human beings. Subjective judgment is seldom necessary to make a point.

But why is it a bad thing to not want to offend someone? Shouldn't we be kind to one another ? I understand that we shouldn't censor ourselves a ridiculous amount but I think not wanting to offend someone is valid. Just my opinion though

im talking about unnecessary censorship. It's cool to be respectful don't get me wrong, but when you have to censor yourself because people are WAY too thin skinned that's when it's taken too far.

It isn't about censoring yourself. Nobody got upset with you. There was just a question of why you had felt it necessary to go with name-calling. You pulled a Trump move. Someone asked a question, and you answer with something that does not answer the question.

Ok fine to answer your question about the name calling, it's because it's TRUE and I CAN.

How does it make someone a "pussy"?
1
thatoneguy
because they put everyone else's feelings first and are afraid of the backlash they'll get for what they're gonna say or do. Even if that thing is true and needs to be said or done for the sake of the people. That's how a good president does their job. They don't care about what some sjws have to say because they know that what they're doing is right for the people.

It doesn't make them a pussy for caring about the feelings of others. There are three ways of telling the truth. By being a jerk and hurting people. By sugar coating. By just saying the truth. You were the jerk in this one. You can tell the truth without hurting others. Simple as that. There are many ways to tell people the truth without being a jerk about it.
