This I exactly what I tell people treat them with respect, because yeah they're going to die anyways but that's no reason to be an abusive ass hat to them before.

That's why my family tries to almost always buy our meat and eggs from local farmers, just because we can see the conditions the animals are raised in and we know it's an okay place. Plus, we're supporting local farmers, which is good

Animals don't share your view on death and food. Especially that asshole cat that keeps killing rabbits on my front porch. I'm getting real tired of disposing of bunny bodies and washing away blood, you little prick.

WTF is a painless death? An unsuspected bullet to the brain or some organic wandering around until their heart gives out? As a carnivore I get so confused.
