Not if you're studying Of Mice And Men in year 10/11 (9th-10th grade) and the books have been in your school longer than you have been alive...smelling them is basically suicide.

No. I work in a library. The smell of books is amazing. The smell of e-data on a media stick?...Not so much. Alas, soon we'll have everything digitized and people will just check out a thumbdrive or download the book. A sad sad day is coming.
