Brief explanation of shipping:
Two people or characters who you would like to see together are called a ship. (Ex: Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.)
Whatever is officially part of their story is called "canon". (Ex: Ginny and Harry get married.)
And a ship can be "sunk" with that canon. (Harry cannot get together with Hermione because he married Ginny.)
.
In conclusion, we are all pirates.
*sigh* My school blocks both AO3 and Wattpad, so I'm stuck on MissLiterati (which is okayish... though I really wanna go on AO3, cause my cousin says they have a lot of good fanfics)
AO3 has the best fanfics. Sure, there is some hella kinky shit, like any other fic site, but a good 90% of the writers are adults, and/or literate, so everything is pretty well written. And the betas work their asses off, so even if the story was shit, a beta reader fixed it up.
Saying "I ship it" means "I support this couple"
