Yes but when they make a big deal it's usually in a good way. For example: they see the ad and like what they see so they purchase he product. Whereas if a lady breast feeds in public some people feel the need to make a fuss in a bad way. For example: telling her to go somewhere else.
Eh, I'll admit that I haven't traveled the world and met every single person, but in my personal experience with the people I've interacted with, the reaction to sex appeal advertising has been mostly negative. I haven't actually heard many opinions on breastfeeding. Although to be fair, I've seen way too many "sexy" obnoxious ads and only once ever seen someone breastfeeding, so that kinda makes sense.
The problem for a lot of people is the nipple. You can have a naked model with only black duct tape over her nipples and vajayjay and everyone's cool. But God forbid a woman actually show her nipple when doing something boobs are actually made for.
isnt it funny how its the nipple thats pretty much the same, and teh big fatty mushy part thats different (normally) but you can show all the mushy part as long as you hide the nipple?
Yeah, I mean people who mind nipples/areolas are to me just hypocrites. It's all the same. It's as if you were allowed to show a dick except for the head. Except for the fact that breasts are not meant to be sexual, we just make it so.
*takes deep preparing breath* men are okay with the display of a woman's body until it's no longer for their pleasure and now i am running because my feministic ass is about to get kicked into hell
Don't forget women. I've been shamed by more women than men while breastfeeding in public. Women are okay with this because that is what we were taught. I'm shy and I cover when I breastfeed my daughter but I know logically there isn't a difference between a male nip and a female nip except a person's personal views on the subject and the amount of cleavage that surrounds it.
Yea, I agree it's not just men, I think its a sex driven culture. Women are valued for their bodies and are expected to stay looking like an 18 year old. Movie stars are back on the red carpet a week after giving birth and 50 year old actresses are wearing jeans designed for a teenager. Sigh
If guys like to see boobs and they see a woman breastfeeding, doesn't that mean that they get to see more of the tit?
