Wait a second....
Of the emus had the strength of 2,000 emus, but there were 2,500 emu casualties then for one thing humans are fucking dicks yet again and slaughtered 500 civilian emus but HOW DID THE EMUS WIN
The emus advanced.
Their oppents kooked nervously at each other.
They knew about the emus's wrath, but they would have never imagined there could be so much!
Would they win against the deadly emus?
It lasted over a month! Imagine:
the troops are weary after a month of fighting the never ending waves of emus... So many emus lay scattered across the plains, torn apart by machines guns (specifically two) yet they are replaced incessantly by their brethren. The Royal Australian Artillary continued to lose ground until only Meredith & Pearce remain, manning the lone machine guns obstinately. "The emus were here before the time of man & will remain after our time ends," calls a private over his shoulder as he retreats. "Sir it is pointless."
But Meredith only grins, eyes lit up with pure insanity. "Not til the last one is dead." The private sheds a lone tear at the bravery & stupidity of these two men as they continue to face down an ornithophobs nightmare.
