What? Legally a restaurant or food stand has to give you a cup of water for free.

Yeah. The particulars vary by state/city, as far as like what size might constitute a restaurant instead of a food stand, etc. I doubt anywhere says the guy pushing the hotdog cart in the park has to provide water, but certainly your sit-down type establishments do. We used to get the cheap bastards at the restaurant I managed who would just ask for free water and lots of lemons and make free lemonade. Funny those types never tipped the server.

I couldn't agree more. I'm always down for a spirited debate, but it can be done civilly.

Really? A lot more public places in MY world have water fountains than WiFi. Besides, a lot more people use WiFi than drink water.

Not everybody uses wifi. Every single person on the fucking planet drinks water. Your logic is flawed. No, your logic is non-existent

What logic? What in hell are you going spastic over?

If you're comparing the first world with the jungles, which I am not, then YOU ARE THE FLAWED ONE.

There's no first world or third world in this situation. Water should be available to everyone. End of story.

Ok listen; I can take a cable line or a satellite receiver almost anywhere in the world and have WiFi. You cannot create or wirelessly transmit water. It is a naturally occurring (or not) item. No one can control whether the remote tribes in the African plains have water, except maybe to dam a river and take it away. This comparison, and this argument is asinine.

Pipes. The word you're looking for is pipes.

No it's not. I'm comparing the ease of getting WiFi to the masses with the difficulty of getting water to remote villages.

My original argument against yours was the need for each thing. You are now talking of ease. You suck at arguing.

No you do!

Just kidding. I was also responding to milkshake. Yes there is indeed a need in places. My original argument was about the comparison of developed nations, who usually have plenty of water and WiFi, with the kinds of places who do not have water, and do not need WiFi.
